CAUSE & TREATMENT OF ALZHEIMER'S-1

12-1-16

Greetings, UI President Bruce Harreld—

Vanessa Miller’s article in the 11-29-16 Cedar Rapids Gazette reported the $45 million Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust grant to the Iowa Neuroscience Institute for taking on tough neuro diseases such as Alzheimer’s.  This is very exciting and could easily lead researchers to finally identifying the cause and treatment of Alzheimer’s, within three years, provided the herein contents of this post are effectively considered and applied.

Please forward this post to:  Troy Ross, executive administrator of the Carver trust,  and newly named Institute director - Ted Abel, who will join the UI faculty in January.

Website  http://www.iowalive.net/alzheimersrevisited.htm and its contained links provide state-of-the art information on Alzheimer’s.   Coupling them with the contents of the following table are outside the box and therefore will lead researchers to great success—never achieved with traditional thinking and approaches.  That website and its many links have been heavily visited, to prove their contents are of great interest and value—if not actually self-practiced by Alzheimer’s  patients as well.   They could easily leap frog the Institute in whipping Alzheimer’s.   Believe it!!!!

THE FOLLOWING TABLE REMOVES THE MYSTERY OF ALZHEIMER’S

CAUSE & TREATMENT OF ALZHEIMER'S

GOOGLE RESULTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

ALZHEIMER'S AND IRON = 36,600,000  references--many negative for iron

Alzheimer's and selenium = 436,000   references—mostly considering selenium as a preventer of Alzheimer’s.

Explanation:  The Integrity Level for the possible cause of Alzheimer's in step 1 below was determined first.  This was repeated for each step to determine the Integrity Level for each possible cause.  Once a high Integrity number was obtained, new possible causes were evaluated until the cause was determined.  Only a small number of the 0's encountered are shown.  Typical Integrity Level Derivation methods are posted on website:  http://www.iowalive.net/integrityderivation.htm

RESULTS OF EVALUATION OF THE CAUSE AND TREATMENT OF ALZHEIMER’S USING IOWALIVE'S PROPRIETARY ALGORITHMS, DATA BASE AND CONVERGING LOGIC METHODS.  4-14-10

ALZHEIMER'S IS MOST LIKELY CAUSED BY AN IMBALANCE IN BRAIN CHEMISTRY CAUSED BY LONG TIME IRON AND SELENIUM DEFICIENCIES & CAN BE REVERSED IN 70% OF EARLY AND MILD CASES ONLY.  MODERATE AND SEVERE CASES CAN NOT BE REVERSED, BUT THEY CAN BE TREATED AND HALTED OR SLOWED IN 80% OF THOSE  CASES AS WELL.

Scientists don’t yet fully understand what causes Alzheimer’s disease, but it is clear that it develops because of a complex series of events that take place in the brain over a long period of time. It is likely that the causes include genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors. Because people differ in their genetic make-up and lifestyle, the importance of these factors for preventing or delaying Alzheimer’s differs from person to person.

Alzheimer's is caused by long term deficiency in Iron, and in about 3% of the cases, also selenium--including mild deficiencies

11

Sources of Iron--blackstrap molasses, eggs, fish, organ meats, poultry, wheat germ desiccated liver, shredded wheat

12

Recommended Daily Allowance of Iron--10 to 18 mg; Supplementary Ranges 15 to 50 mg, Toxicity--100 mg or more. if taken regularly

13

Anti-Iron --coffee, excess phosphorous, zinc or copper, manganese

Deficiency Symptoms--breathing difficulties, brittle nails, anemia, constipation, sore or inflamed tongue

Alzheimer's can be reversed by effective consumption of from 20 mg to 100 mg of Iron per day--along with Selenium.  Amount varies with the individual.

16

Sources of Selenium--eggs, fish, animal meats, whole grain, brown rice, lobster

Iron particles found in the brain clearly indicate an excess of iron in the body

0

24

Iron particles found in the brain clearly indicate  consumption and the presence of non assimilated iron in the body--but they do not cause Alzheimer's disease, as some believe.  They rather mislead researchers to blame iron for Alzheimer's.

25

About 65% of the iron supplements sold over the counter are poorly assimilated by the body.

26

About 20% of the iron supplements prescribed by doctors are poorly assimilated by the body.

Ferrous Fumarate is one of the better sources of iron

28

Ferrous sulfate and  Hydrolyzed Protein Chelate are inferior sources of iron

Researchers have not provided doctors with reliable tests for low levels of iron deficiency.
