WHINING UI PROF M. P. BROWN IGNORES POOR UI PERFORMANCE

Greetings, Matthew P. Brown, $100,000 totally compensated, whining associate professor in the English department and the Center for the Book at the University of Iowa—and all,

Your 450 word, whining column in todays’, 12-23-15 Gazette is exactly what to expect from one who ignores being part of one of the poorest performing organizations at UI.  It has no performance measures, and doesn’t want any to prevent it, and you, from falsely assuming it is performing perfectly—with no room or reason to improve. 

But the following unrefuted table shows otherwise.  It has been  posted on website  http://www.iowalive.net/uiperformance.htm  since 9-26-15. 

You and the poorly performing English department are  part of the red College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, as performance measurement specialists would certainly expect. 

The loudest whiners against Harreld are very predictably deeply imbedded in the organizations in red.

It would cost at least $750,000 to have performance measurement specialists prepare this table for UI.
