PERFORMANCE OF UI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION & UI FOUNDATION

4-3-17

Greetings,  UI Alumni Association, UI Foundation Officials and all:

Word that UI President Harreld has instructed the UI Alumni Association to stop accepting new members and stop collecting membership dues caught Iowalive net workers attention.  In addition, there is speculation the UI Alumni Association will be merged with the UI Foundation.  In criticizing Harreld’s decision, UI Alumni Association board chairwoman Clare Kelly of Des Moines did not cite the Association’s operating efficiency or integrity.

As a result, to fill the void, net workers prepared the following performance table based on available information.  Please email your current operating budget records and the total dollar amounts currently managed by your organizations, and the table will be updated, and likely expanded as well.   Thank you very much.
