KWWL TV TOPS IOWA TV STATION RANKING
Iowalive has updated the 11-1-09 TV station ranking as shown in the following table. It is similar to that done and posted for many Iowa newspapers. The table shows the results of an extensive evaluation, performed using Iowalive's proven evaluation methods. Local news and weather only were evaluated, as those topics are the responsibility of each station--which has the final decision on each.
Cherish what is believed to be the first and only such ranking. The Integrity Index scale is the same as routinely used by Iowalive net workers for making such evaluations. KWWL local news and weather forecasts are tops in Iowa TV.
There is no magic wand for what KWWL is doing to sustain such high integrity. It is the culture at KWWL that does it. People there set and sustain the culture. They think in terms of doing the right thing right, despite all obstacles and temptations to do otherwise. KWWL is what a good TV station looks like. KDSM is a very close second and KYOU is in the hunt, except for its weather forecasts.
