MAYOR "SNOOKS" BOUSKA SAVED MARION TAXPAYERS $4.4 MILLION

12-17-15

Greetings, Mayor “Snooks” Bouska, Marion City Council and All—

Tonight is Mayor “Snooks” Bouska’s last regular council meeting.  He defeated Nick Glew to become Marion’s mayor, 4 years ago.

The following table shows the benefits of having “Snooks”  as Marion’s mayor, rarther than Nick Glew.  Numbers tell the story far better than words.

It isn’t so much about what "Snooks" did as mayor, it is about what he didn’t do.   He didn’t push for waste and wasteful projects.   He rather resisted them.  He leaves a very tough act to follow.

The new mayor’s performance will be evaluated and reported as well.

Businessman “Snooks”  retired from duty as a Vietnam combat AD Skyraider Attack Bomber pilot in the Navy.  After that he retired as a California crop duster pilot.   Both were VERY dangerous duties, that he performed exceptionally well.
