REPORT CARD FOR LINN COUNTY REPUBLICAN CENTRAL COMMITTEE

8-18-15

Greetings, Republican Party of Iowa (RPI), Linn County Republican Central Committee (LCRCC) Officials, and all—

Website http://www.iowalive.net/lcrccdysfunction.htm and  others on http://www.iowalive.net/  have reported on conditions at  LCRCC.  This post contains a report card that LCRCC can also be used as a check list to prepare for 2016 caucuses that will meet or exceed those so successfully accomplished in 2012!  The stage is set for record caucus attendance and media coverage—under the skeptical eyes of those determined to rip the first-in-the nation-caucuses out of Iowa.

The following report card is provided with the committed intention of keeping those caucuses in Iowa!!   It is based on what is known at this time, as well as existence or absence of preparation and plans for highly successful 2016 caucuses.  Other county central committees might find the Report Card useful as well.

2016 LCRCC CAUCUS REPORT CARD—CAN ALSO BE USED AS A CHECK LIST

Suitable Preparations and Plans, or the Lack of them, Are Included in Each Grade

The Audit Report, to be released at the 8-18-15 LCRCC meeting, should also be of interest!

This Report Card will be updated and posted monthly.

For 6 weeks prior to caucuses, volunteers must be found, vetted and trained on how to run their caucus. Printed caucus materials must be picked up by the volunteers, or delivered to them. It is one hell of an effort.

If more than one caucus at a location, have separate rooms for each precinct big enough for record crowds  attending.

People attending are checked against the most recent voter list available from the County Auditor and collated. If those coming in are on the list as a registered Republican, give them a presidential ballot and move them to the meeting area.
