IOWA NEWSPAPERS MUST STEP UP FOR IOWA'S KIDS

8-29-17

Greetings, Iowa Newspapers and Governor Reynolds—

This is For Your Information and action.

Iowalive was scrutinizing Iowa’s public schools in 2002 as evidenced by this link.  Disastrous Iowa Education--Briefing to Legislators--2002  At that time a Cedar Rapids Gazette editor flatly stated you will be around for at most 2 years as that is what happens to  such efforts.   He is long gone and Iowalive is still here, observing and reporting as newspapers and educators continue to throw Iowa’s kids under the school bus, with reckless abandon and impunity.  The http://www.iowalive.net/registerhidesbadnews.htm   post points it out  once  again and it is  supported by the following links—and many more on http://www.iowalive.net/ .

ISEA TEACHERS UNION CONTROLLED BY DEFECTIVE STUDENT THEORISTS

IA REGENT UNIVERSITIES ARE DELINQUENT IN TEACHER TRAINING RESULTS

DEFECTIVE STUDENT THEORY PLAGUES IA BOARD OF EDUCATIONAL EXAMINERS

HARMFUL DEFECTIVE STUDENT THEORY IMPACT ON STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION

IOWA SCHOOLS INFLATE ‘A’ GRADES AND STUDENT PROFICIENCIES

RESPONSE TO 2nd ESSA DRAFT

Iowa educators pathetically failed  to meet No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements and now they have released the 3rd and worst draft, of their response to Every Student Succeeds ACT (ESSA),  as shown in the  following table which will soon be further released and posted on http://www.iowalive.net/

And of course Iowa educators have no comparable numbers and newspaper reporters and editors won’t ask for them!!  Educators run and hide from responsibility and accountability—with impunity.   And they set their own pathetic standards and grade their own papers.

Governor Reynolds will have to step up to turn this disaster around!!  Giving irresponsible educators annual, automatic  funding and pay raises isn’t working!

IOWA EDUCATORS WILL AVOID ESSA JUST AS THEY THUMBED THEIR NOSES AT NCLB

EACH ESSA PLAN  DRAFT REDUCED STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT RESULTS.  Source:  Iowalive   8-24-17
