WHO RADIO'S MICKELSON IN THE MORNING BROADCASTS BENEFITED IOWANS $3.8 BILLION & MORE--IN THE PAST 10 YEARS

5-1-10

THE NUMBERS AND CONTENTS HEREIN SHOW WHY WHO RADIO'S "MICKELSON IN THE MORNING" PROGRAM IS IOWA PUBLIC DEFENDER  # 1

Results are often over looked for individuals and organizations involved with the public.  Some even foolishly  believe results can't be measured.  Iowalive net workers readily evaluate such results and are continuously searching for top performers--statewide and to some extent nationally as well.  As a result of this search, WHO radio talk show host, Jan Mickelson,  is the top contributor to Iowans to date   The Program's outstanding  success has pretty much gone unnoticed, until now--when its 10 year success is described with outstanding numbers.  Jan is now in his prime!!

The following two tables show some of the financial and social benefits Jan Mickelson's WHO radio program produced for Iowans in the past ten years alone.  Tax and financial benefits alone total at least $3.8 Billion.  Social benefits to Iowans were equally impressive, as shown in the second table.  These benefits were generated by advertisers who paid for the program--and were of no cost to Iowa taxpayers.

Business advertisers on the program benefited as well, with a net 11% average return on advertisements.  It is a WIN-WIN situation.

The  taxes Mickelson was fighting increased a cumulative total of $18 Billion in ten years form 1999 to 2009, as shown in the following. Teacher union members hogged at least $6 Billion of this increase--and it would have been much more if not for Mickelson.

MICKELSON IN THE MORNING  IS CREDITED WITH PREVENTING THE  TOTAL $18 BILLION INCREASE FROM BEING $21.8 BILLION

Derivation methods for the numbers include methods for determining advertising outcomes as well as Iowalive's proven algorithms and data base, as discussed on website: http://iowalive.net/  .
