HEALTH CARE ABUSE TOTALS $960 BILLION ANNUALLY!

Iowalive net workers just completed an update of health care abuse. This new and staggering $960 Billion health care abuse number likely comes as no surprise to some--and as a shock to others. Many of the numbers in the abuse table below are related to malpractice and related lawsuits--or the threat and fear of them.

Doctors, who are forced to practice medicine as an art, not a science--don't have the tools to do the job effectively, especially diagnostic tools. As a result, they are very vulnerable to lawsuits.

In addition, doctors have no effective methods to determine a patient's immune system or some organ performance levels, mental condition, heal ability, susceptibility to anaphylactic shock, and other reactions to prescribed drugs etc. As a result, at least $240 Billion (25%) of the $960 Billion abuse relates to lawyers--who heavily influence the democrat party--and who ferociously fight tort reform, to preserve their income levels as they are now. Anyone claiming to have better numbers is asked to provide them for evaluation and comparison.

Will any of the so called "health care reform" plans substantially reduce lawyer caused abuse? Will they significantly improve diagnostic methods? The answer to both is an emphatic NO! Diagnostic tools and methods must be substantially improved to further reduce health care costs. Physician's ability to determine a patient's immune system, mental condition and organ performance levels etc. must likewise be improved.

Trial lawyers will scream when the abuse they cause is threatened, reduced or eliminated with no fault insurance or better diagnostic methods--resulting in fewer medical tests and errors. To date, you have not heard a peep out of the trial lawyers. All is well with their lawsuits and political influence. :-(

NO FAULT CAR INSURANCE DID NOT RESULT IN MORE ACCIDENTS. SIMILARLY, NO FAULT MEDICAL INSURANCE WILL NOT RESULT IN MORE MEDICAL ERRORS!!

*Per Capita spending on healthcare is now at least $7,900. The cost to add '***50 Million people' covered by insurance will actually total about $50 Billion annually, ($1,000 each) as all the cost abuses for 'free' caring for these people are included in the above Abuse numbers. However, if care for 50 Million people was legitimized with insurance, the total abuse % would fall from 40% to about 37%, so the net cost of adding 50 Million insured people would be about $960 Billion minus $864 Billion (37% Abuse) = $96 Billion Abuse savings, minus $50 Billion added cost = $46 Billion savings. This is what some Democrats are screaming about, but don't have the numbers to show it--and if they did, few would believe it due to Democrat's lack of credibility.

**No-fault health care insurance, equivalent to no-fault car insurance, would reduce health care abuse by a total of at least $93 Billion annually--which is 10% of total Abuse. It was no-fault car insurance that drove lawyers to sue health care providers. It wasn't complaints of health care provider abuse that drove lawyers to live on health care providers!!

ANYONE CLAIMING TO HAVE BETTER NUMBERS IS ASKED TO PROVIDE THEM.
