HART BEST OF WHO'S LEFT FOR CEDAR RAPIDS MAYOR

11-18-17

Greetings, Cedar Rapids Gazette Editorial Board and alló

Cedar Rapids voters nixed Gulick, the best pick, and threw Olson, your pick, out as well.   So now itís left to Hart and Vernon in the table farther below.  And here is a site telling it like it is.  https://www.facebook.com/254283084588635/photos/a.254741527876124.84482.254283084588635/1936471863036407/?type=3&theater

And former council member Don Karr Jr. says, it was all about the money. True North needed pay back for the 4 million dollar loss to the Sinclair fire they insured. And the fire station land was owned by the downtown district business coalition and rich country club members who doubled their money on the sale of that land in 4 years for the fire station. And now you know the truth.

Cedar Rapidians can only hope Hart replaces Corbett (who failed to deliver a casino) as the mayor of the City of Constantly Rising Stifling Taxation (CRST).  Hart at least has some integrity!!  But the downtowners and the Gazette, and their pals, could have a serious problem with that!!

Is it time for another Gazette botched Iowa Ideas Conference?  Sigh!
