CEDAR RAPIDS PLAGUED WITH GHETTO SCHOOL DISTRICT

The following table of Cedar Rapids metro area population and enrollment numbers shows the problems of throwing more money, pay raises  and new buildings at the mismanaged Cedar Rapids school district, that continues to dig itself deeper into ghetto status.  The Gazette’s continued cover-up serves to make matters worse.    It is much too easy for Iowalive net workers to beat the chaotic Gazette to the punch in reporting performance news. 

Marion’s mediocre school district looks good in comparison with C. R. -–but not with Linn-Mar and College.   But none are close to being the best in the state, which is mediocre in the nation, which is mediocre internationally.  Don’t all have schools or district on the Watch or In Need of Assistance Lists??  How did they get there??  Would the Gazette dare to report how, before Iowalive does??  Is the Gazette keeping pace with website:  http://iowalive.net/  that is being hammered with hits??
