C. R. & MARION CITY HALL CANDIDATES' FITNESS SCORES

10-19-15

Greetings, Cedar Rapids Gazette Editorial Board and alló

Sundayís 10-18-15 Gazette carried its endorsements and candidate guest columns for C. R. and Marion City Hall candidates.   As deploringly usual, none contained any numbers to show what was claimed or talked about.  Editors used no numbers so why should the candidates?  Journalists canít, or wonít, make numerical estimates to back up endorsements, claims or reports.

Once again, volunteer Iowalive net workers stepped up to fill the void with the following table showing candidatesí scores for fitness and commitment to serve ALL residents.   This is not a table to sustain the status quo, good as some might think it to be!!

Someone should tell Knox-Seymour and Olson there is a huge difference between 'change' (their word) and 'improve'.

No Need to Repeat Words Carried in The Gazette, here.   Iowaliveís Numbers Speak for Iowalive Net Workers.

Kudos To Bridgett Wood For Being Best In Class, By Far!  She, Lisa Kuzela, Dwight Hogan and Kay Lammers provide voters with exceptional choices.

ANYONE CLAIMING TO HAVE BETTER NUMBERS IS ASKED TO PROVIDE THEM FOR ALL TO SEE.

To add insult to injury, the editorial board backed another tax increase for the library.  It has yet to see a tax increase it didnít like.  And it doesnít realize when it calls for another tax increase it once again assumes there is NO waste in City Hall, that can be cut and reallocated to better useósuch as for the library.   And the board canít see the absurdity in that lame brained assumption.  And they wonít use numbers to help expose it as such.

IS THIS HEAVEN?  NO!!  ITíS CEDAR RAPIDS IOWA!

Sincerely,

Iowalive    A growing network of volunteer citizens and professionals for improving Iowa
